Never mind for a moment the mathematical issues of that but a reference will be good enough for now. What leads you to believe that users want to do anything but message in these apps outside of the vendors looking to monitize? Finally your statement "most of us have all the apps we need..." reminded of that often quoted "Everything that can be Invented has been Invented - Duell 1899". I'll leave it at that.

Re: “…let him declare what he seeth…” or Apple vs the Web

No argument from me about The Age of the Platform—and, yes, Apple was one of its progenitors. I love that you are searching for dimension and context. I think it's a journey that we should all be embarking on. We do need to take personal responsibility for finding meaning and not just sit back and accept status quo. Thanks for sharing this. It should inspire critical thought.

Re: Meant to Struggle

Trinity Joy Whitley liked this on Facebook.

Re: Meant to Struggle

Scott Schwarzkopf liked this on Facebook.

Re: http://samharrelson.com/2014/03/26/5130/

David Lewis liked this on Facebook.

Re: Amazing that we are still discovering important as...

Jesseca Kusher liked this on Facebook.

Re: There’s a Reason Why Boring Interfaces Like Reddit Engage Crowds

Steven Hoel liked this on Facebook.
