    In stark contrast to anything ever attempted or accomplished in the realm of online advertising/marketing.

    IMO, the reason we have so much confidence (entirely sure) is that we have so much money rooted in so much ignorance (consumer/user + marketers). It's an entire Ignorance Economy based on elementary social engineering concepts.
