Make sure you know the following:
1) The 4 states of matter
2) The one thing that determines the state of matter of something.
3) The most common state of matter in the universe (plasma).
4) The kinetic theory of matter says that particles that make up solids, liquids, gases and plasma are in constant motion.
5) Solids have particles packed closest together.
6) Solids have definite shapes and volumes.
7) Liquids have definite volumes and change shapes.
8) Gases change volumes and change shapes.
9) Water at high temps gives you steam.
10) Water at low temps gives you ice.
